How scoring works
Pro and Classic are separate competitions with their own leaderboards. They're scored differently — Pro rewards exact scores, Classic rewards picking the right teams. Pick the section that matches your mode.
Pro mode
Predict the exact final score of every match.
Match points (Pro)
Every match awards points in three tiers:
- Exact score — full points
- Correct goal difference — you got the margin right but not the exact scoreline
- Correct result — right winner / draw, wrong margin
- Wrong result — 0 points

Penalty shootouts (Pro)
If a knockout match goes to penalties, it's scored the same as any other match — full round points apply. The regulation-time score is used for exact/goal-difference checks, and the penalty winner counts as the match result.
Example: the Final ends 1-1 in regulation and Team B wins on pens. If you predicted 1-1 with Team B winning on pens, that's an exact score (1,600 pts). If you predicted 0-0 with Team B on pens, that's correct goal difference (1,200 pts). If you predicted Team B wins 2-0, that's correct result (800 pts).
Group stage bonuses (Pro)
Awarded once per group (12 groups, up to 1,800 bonus pts total):
- Group winner + runner-up exactly right — 150 pts
- Group winner only correct — 100 pts
- Runner-up only correct — 50 pts
- Both teams right but swapped positions — 75 pts
- One of two teams correct — 25 pts
Qualification bonus (Pro)
How many of the 32 teams that advance to the Round of 32 you got right:
- 32 / 32 — 150 pts
- 24–31 — 100 pts
- 16–23 — 50 pts
Tiebreakers (Pro)
- Total points (matches + bonuses)
- Number of exact-score predictions
- Most recent bracket submission
Classic mode
Rank each group, pick best third-place teams, and pick the winner of every knockout match.
Group stage (Classic)
For each of the 12 groups, your 1st-place and 2nd-place picks are scored separately. Stack them for the full 225:

Best third-place teams (Classic)
After ranking the groups, pick 8 third-place teams you think will advance to the Round of 32.
- Each correct best-third pick — 50 pts (max 400)
Knockout points (Classic)
Pick the winner of every knockout match. Points scale up each round:

No exact-score component — just pick who advances. If a match goes to penalties, the penalty winner counts as the match winner.

Tournament bonuses (both modes)
- Champion correct — 1,000 pts
- Runner-up correct — 25 pts
- Third place correct — 25 pts
- Best Player of the Tournament correct — 100 pts
- Top Scorer (Golden Boot) correct — 100 pts
