THESE OFFICIAL RULES (THE “RULES”) AFFECT AND CONTROL YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS. YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES WITHOUT EXCEPTION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST AND TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE ANY PRIZE.
THESE RULES INCLUDE A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS-ACTION WAIVER (SECTION 11) WHICH REQUIRE ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND SPONSOR TO BE RESOLVED BY INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION RATHER THAN IN COURT. YOU MAY OPT OUT OF ARBITRATION BY FOLLOWING THE PROCEDURE IN SECTION 11.6 BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR FIRST BRACKET ENTRY. OPT-OUT REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER YOUR FIRST BRACKET ENTRY SHALL BE NULL AND VOID.
1. Overview & Acceptance
1.1The MandemDAO World Cup 2026 Bracket Challenge (the “Contest”) is a free-to-enter prediction contest held in connection with the 2026 FIFA World Cup (the “Tournament”), open from the time bracket entry is made available on the Site (defined below) through the conclusion of the Tournament’s final match scheduled for July 19, 2026 (the “Contest Period”).
1.2The sole sponsor of the Contest is Mandem DAO (“Sponsor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, the United States Soccer Federation, Apple, Google, Solana Labs, the Solana Foundation, and Phantom Technologies are not sponsors of, responsible for conducting, or otherwise involved with the Contest in any manner. FIFA® and FIFA WORLD CUP®are registered trademarks of Fédération Internationale de Football Association.
1.3The Contest is operated by Sponsor through the website located at mandemdao.xyz and any subdomains, mirrors, or successor properties (collectively, the “Site”). Use of the Site is also governed by the Site’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. To the extent any provision of those documents conflicts with these Rules with respect to the Contest, these Rules shall control.
1.4By creating an Account, submitting a Bracket Entry, joining a Pool, or otherwise participating in the Contest, you (“Entrant” or “you”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Rules and by all decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.
1A. Definitions
The following terms have the meanings set forth below wherever used in these Rules. Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Section have the meanings given to them elsewhere in these Rules.
“Account” — An active user account on the Site, in good standing, in the sole name of a single natural person who satisfies Section 2.
“Bracket Entry” — A complete and timely-submitted set of predictions for the Tournament made through the Site’s bracket interface, in either Pro Mode or Classic Mode.
“Pro Mode” — The variant of Bracket Entry in which the Entrant predicts the exact final score of every Tournament Match (104 matches), as further described on the Site at /about and /scoring.
“Classic Mode” — The variant of Bracket Entry in which the Entrant ranks each group and selects the winner of each knockout match without predicting exact scores, as further described on the Site at /about and /scoring.
“Eligible Pro Bracket” — A Bracket Entry that (a) was submitted in Pro Mode, (b) was complete (containing a prediction for every Tournament Match and every required bonus selection) at the moment of Contest Lock, and (c) was submitted from an Account that satisfies Section 2.
“Contest Lock” — The moment of the kickoff whistle of the first Tournament Match (currently scheduled for June 11, 2026 at 19:00 UTC), after which no Bracket Entry may be created, edited, or withdrawn.
“Pool” — A private or public group within the Contest, which may be configured as either a free pool or a Paid Pool by its creator.
“Paid Pool” — A Pool with a non-zero entry fee denominated in SOL, the operation of which is governed by the on-chain prize pool program described on the Site and in Section 3A.
“Platform Fee” — A fee retained by Sponsor from the gross entry fees of each Paid Pool, currently set at five percent (5%) and subject to prospective adjustment as set forth on the Site.
“Qualifying Account” — An Account that, at Contest Lock, holds Bracket Entries occupying every one of the Account’s available bracket slots (currently fifteen (15) per Account, as set on the Site), each and every one of which is an Eligible Pro Bracket.
“Perfect Bracket” — An Eligible Pro Bracket in which the Entrant has correctly predicted the exact final score (regulation plus any applicable extra time, but excluding the result of any penalty shootout) of every Tournament Match.
“Best Bracket” — The Eligible Pro Bracket associated with a Qualifying Account that has the highest total point score for the Tournament under the Pro Mode scoring rules described on the Site, calculated and certified by Sponsor following the conclusion of the Tournament and after application of the tiebreakers in Section 4C.
“Tournament Match” — Any of the 104 matches scheduled to be played as part of the Tournament, as set forth in the official FIFA fixture list as it stands at Contest Lock.
“Released Parties” — Sponsor and its members, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, advisors, service providers, validators, and affiliates, collectively.
“Prize” — The Grand Prize or the Secondary Prize, in each case as defined in Section 4.
1B. Order of Precedence
1B.1In the event of any conflict between these Rules and any other published material relating to the Contest (including marketing copy on the Site, social-media posts, FAQs, or in-product help text), these Rules shall control.
1B.2In the event of any conflict between the English-language version of these Rules and any translation, the English-language version shall control.
1B.3It is your responsibility to retain a copy of these Rules as in effect at the time of your participation. Sponsor maintains a public version history at /terms.
