2. Eligibility
2.1To be eligible to enter the Contest and to claim any Prize, you must, at the time of entry and continuously through the date of Prize fulfillment:
- Be at least eighteen (18) years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence, whichever is greater;
- Hold a valid Account, registered in your own legal name, that has not been suspended, restricted, or otherwise placed in bad standing by Sponsor;
- Be a natural person and not a corporation, partnership, trust, decentralized autonomous organization, multi-signature collective, or other entity, whether or not such entity is a “person” under applicable law;
- Reside in, and at the time of each material action under these Rules be physically located in, a jurisdiction in which entry into and participation in skill-based prediction contests of this nature is lawful;
- Not reside in, and at the time of each material action under these Rules not be physically located in, any jurisdiction sanctioned by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), the European Union, or the United Kingdom, including without limitation the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, and Syria; and
- Comply with all applicable laws of your jurisdiction with respect to the Contest, including (where applicable) tax laws and laws governing the receipt, custody, and transfer of digital assets.
2.2The use of virtual private networks, proxies, residential-IP routing services, location-spoofing tools, or any other mechanism intended to circumvent geographic restrictions is strictly prohibited and shall be grounds for disqualification under Section 6.
2.3The following persons are not eligibleto enter the Contest or to receive any Prize: (a) members, officers, directors, contractors, agents, and employees of Sponsor and any of its affiliates; (b) any person involved in the design, development, hosting, administration, judging, or operation of the Contest; (c) members of the immediate family of any person described in (a) or (b), where “immediate family” means spouse, domestic partner, parents, parents-in-law, siblings, siblings-in-law, children, and stepchildren; and (d) any person residing in the same household as any person described in (a) or (b), whether or not related.
2.4You are solely responsible for verifying that your participation in the Contest is lawful in your jurisdiction. Sponsor makes no representation that the Contest is appropriate or available for use in any particular jurisdiction. Where any provision of these Rules is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and all remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
2.5Sponsor reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to require any Entrant to provide reasonable proof of identity, age, residency, and physical location at the time of any material action, including (without limitation) by submitting a government-issued identification document, a recent utility bill, or a signed attestation. Failure to provide such proof within the period reasonably specified by Sponsor shall be grounds for disqualification and forfeiture of any Prize.
2.6Notwithstanding any other provision of these Rules, Sponsor may restrict or prohibit participation by residents of any jurisdiction in which Sponsor reasonably believes participation would be unlawful or would expose Sponsor to a regulatory burden disproportionate to the benefit of the Contest. Any such restriction or prohibition shall be posted on the Site as soon as reasonably practicable.
